Meet The Team

Our Story

Midwest CNC Repairs began in 2018 with a simple idea and two men who refused to ignore a growing problem in the manufacturing world. At the time, Marty Vogel, a seasoned machinist with a reputation for precision and grit, was working in a Peoria‑area shop where CNC downtime was becoming a weekly headache. Machines were aging, service companies were slow, and repairs were expensive. Every hour a machine sat idle meant lost production, lost revenue, and frustrated crews.
Marty had spent years learning the ins and outs of CNC systems—Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, you name it. He was the guy everyone called when a spindle started screaming or a control panel froze. But he noticed something bigger: the Midwest was full of shops that needed faster, more reliable service than what they were getting.
That’s when he called his longtime friend and fellow problem‑solver, Jacob Fontaine.
Jacob came from the automation side of manufacturing. He had a sharp mind for diagnostics, electrical systems, and the kind of troubleshooting that required both patience and creativity. Where Marty brought mechanical mastery, Jacob brought electronic expertise. Together, they were the perfect blend of old‑school craftsmanship and modern technical skill.

They would start their own CNC repair company, one built on honesty, speed, and true Midwest work ethic.
